Casualty Control System (CASCON) from R.B. Allen

Supplying NAVSEA 8010 Standard-compliant CASCON and Heat and Smoke Detection and Notification (HASDAN) systems to United States Naval shipyards since 2010.

NAVSEA 8010 Standard-Compliant Products

R.B. Allen works closely with public and private shipyards as well as manufacturers to meet the requirements of the NAVSEA 8010 Standard.

CASCON

When naval ships are at a repair depot or being retrofitted, temporary alarm systems are often required. The Casualty Control System (CASCON) serves as a temporary, expandable, and re-deployable emergency reporting and communication system. CASCON is now mandated for both submarines and surface vessels under the NAVSEA 8010 Standard. This mandate applies when the ship’s life-safety systems or the announcing system (1MC) are compromised. R.B. Allen offers comprehensive CASCON Systems that adhere to NAVSEA 8010 requirements.

HASDAN

Both NAVSEA and private shipyards are required to comply with certain standards for Heat and Smoke Detection and Notification (HASDAN) systems. R.B. Allen supplies the necessary compliant cabling, device boxes, and control equipment to fulfill these standards. We collaborate with shipyards to design systems that align perfectly with their requirements
