Fire Alarm System Inspector

Department: Preventative Maintenance and Testing


Responsibilities:

  • Perform Inspections of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Assist the Fire Sprinkler Division
  • Perform Integrated Building Systems Testing
  • Provide Inspection Reports
  • Perform Service and Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers
  • Provide Support to Fire Alarm Technicians as Needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • NICET Certification
  • Class D Electrical License

Fire Alarm Technician

Department: Service


Responsibilities:

  • Perform Troubleshooting of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Perform Programming of Engineered Fire Alarm Systems
  • Provide Support to the Inspection Department
  • Perform Emergency After-Hours Service Calls

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
  • Prior Experience as a Fire Alarm Technician
  • Class D Electrical License

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • NICET Certification
  • Rhode Island BF Electrical License
